At the moment, it is possible to run a Linux 3.0 kernel on this device. Refer to this thread and the source code at Google Code for more information. This could help with getting Linux to work on the Samsung Galaxy Note series in general, and possibly on some of the Samsung Galaxy Tab devices as well.
